Last day of CNY was yest. boo.... no more nice lights when i pass by hougang at night in 53. The week that has just passed was pretty routine, though routine now seems to mean killer. Chem S lectures now are pretty disastrous as students are lecturing instead of teachers, and the students lecturing seems more intent on showing his/her answer than explaining the answer. Just when we thought that physics S could not get any worse than chem S, we were proven wrong, as the lecturer then attempts to conduct physics remeidal in an S paper lecture. grr...enough of S papers.

When i reached sch on fri, i was pleasantly surprised as the j1s were not there and the atmosphere was much more peaceful. Not to imply anything bad bout the J1s, but i think the sch is a much nicer place that way. In the evening we had CIP at RI, and becoz it was raining, we had problems transporting the instruments over. We brought the instruments to block A, went back to CO room to get umbrellas and by the time we got back to block A, the rain had stopped :X The performance itself wasn't that bad, but it was torture watching ppl lao yu sheng while we performed on an empty stomach.

Spent my weekend reading Memoirs of the Geisha. Didn't have time to catch the movie the past few weeks and i absolutely refuse to watch on weekends becoz of the price tag. It was an interesting read. The storyline is rather plain but the storytelling is rather colourful, a lot of interesting descriptions and metaphors u dun see commonly. I quote "But now I know that our world is no more permanent than a wave rising on the ocean. Whatever our struggles and triumphs, however we may suffer them, all too soon they bleed into a wash, just like watery ink on paper."

Chem SPA todae was horrendously easy, half the class finished with half hour to spare. Anw, the next time I might have a chance to touch the lab apparatus would most likely be 3yrs later in Uni? lol... Valentine's Day is in 2 hours time... If u have seen the posters around, u'll have seen one on the equation of heart. If u input tht eqn into a graphic calculator or graph software, u'll get a heart-shape curve, a rounded heart though, called the cardiod. I found a better eqn on the net..

I dun see the point of wishing "Happy Valentine's Day", the phrase is totally meaningless. Instead, i offer a toast to all of u out there who believe in love. Cheers...

ps. can someone help me identify the song in the bg? i ripped it off a CD I burned a long time ago and i realise that the song is no longer in my com. I think it's the theme song of a korean serial drama but i can't figure which.....
