Damn...i damn irritated...for 2 reasons

1. I sent a email to MOM 1 week ago regarding PW matters. When they did not reply, i called them up, they told me to send another email to prompt them. I got a reply this time, telling me that they are looking into the matter of my email not being answered, not that they are attempting to answer my mail. So, I take it as my email could have been not opened at all or even just deleted after being read....

2. I'm even more irritated by the fact that I'm actaully bothering the ministry for such a matter. Look, by the end of the year, I know where the reply of theirs(if they ever give me one) would go, down the dustbin or up in ashes. I'm actually bothering people for stuff that I know would never become reality, just becoz of a !@#$!@#$@ grade. damn.... PW has a serious problem, how many of the projects initiated would actually be followed up by the students after the end of the year? I dare say close to zero. Then why did MOE implement it? To grade us on wat group collaboration, innovation and watever u can think of and yes waste how much resources on such stuff, resources here include time of people we endlessly pester and survey, salary of teachers who teach PW and our PRECIOUS TIME AND ENERGY...

Also, given the scope of topic they give us, it looks that the worst thing they could have done. Identify a current trend or way of doing things by a group in the society and modify it to suit the needs of a different group of people in the society. "Rome was not built in a day", changes dun happen overnight. The problem here falls under the armchair critic syndrome. We are suggesting a change without actual capital to make a change, in other words, talking to make the world a better place. If i was to go by the famous saying of "start with the end in mind", the project should not started at all, coz all it sets out to do, is to build sandcastles in the air and squeeze marks out of it.
They argued that the topic allows a lot of room for creativity, but it seems that the more creative/innovative your idea, the more unpractical it becomes? To quote bong, he talked about this project on radar being used more and more commonly out of its usual military uses. Hence they want to implement it for blind people, replacing their walking stick. Creative? indeed. The PW teacher was impressed by the idea, but at the very first interview with a relevant person in the industry, the reply was blunt and almost humourous. Put in bong's words- Why the need for radar when ur walking stick can detect everything left, right and in front of u? The only place it can't detect is above you and how does radar help? Bong imitating radar "Obstacle detected. 3 metres....2 metres....1 metres...bang!" Wow, talk about innovation indeed..
In short, we should do a project on PW as a current trend and modify it and implement it on those who implemented PW in the first place, to make them realise how irrelevant PW has strayed and how hypocritical it is to ask qns like "How do think of my plan to do XXX....? when u dun intend to do the XXX... mentioned in the first place. In even shorter terms, it's screwed and i just wan my pass. So, MOM, please reply soon *prays. Damn!
