The propaganda show on National TV just ended and I guess it is not that repulsive after all. Just realised that i totally left off celebrations in RJ in the last entry so shall try to describe here.

In place of a traditional parade and concert celebrations we normally have in sec sch, we had a sloppy parade, sloppy promethean ceremony and a sloppy sports carnival. Everything was just touch and go, yes i agree that the rain indeed would have some effect on the programme but surely, I say surely, as intellectual elites, one would have foreseen the possibility of a process known as the water cycle. The parade and promethean ceremony were a far cry from RI's way of doing them. Though, RI's prometheum day ceremony was ten times as time-wasting as the RJ's one, at least there was something to it, it was not a show, to put it in simpler terms. bleah...as for the sports carnival, I just walked around the school aimlessly, dropping by the CO room, indoor gym, weights room and finally stayed at the gallery for the concert. When the whole event was over, there was a sudden revalation- no attendance was taken throughout the day. Lol

On a sidenote, I miss the singing of song "home" in RI. Though it may be a bit cliched, but still, there is this heart-warming feeling when hundred others sing along with u. And this year, bl heading the CO perc put up an item for national day, which reminds me of "Percussion in Harmony" and some band song i guest-performed for also during National Day in my stay in RI.
