Yesterday got back home from mark chan's concert like 11pm, so no time to blog. ytd was a "interesting day". Morning had a training with band for national dae. Mr Oura did not turn out to be the terror as rumoured, he's a nice guy lah. Let me narrate from the start. He walks into the room at 10 with only the conductors score. He started arranging the music, giving ppl their parts and changing thr rhythm here and there. He turns and then ask the percussion to listen to the music and improvise. I was like dunno what to play.....Luckily, came out with one stupid rhythm which was further improvised by him to sound quite nice. It as fun in there, very unlike in CO. u feel free to improvise and let the "music take u to greater heights". there was a 4 bar percussion solo in the middle of the song and the secret is that there is no score for it. u play whatever u want. Practice ended at 1050. though only 50 minutes, was really enlighted and joyous after it. hmm... wonder why?

too much things to write that have to paragraph. i cannot miss out this part man, its damn funny. i was at S11, already bought my food, then Mr Lee, Zongjin, Xunqi, Ben Ang etc.. came in. sat down at a table with ban ang. everyone went to buy their food. everyone came back with 1 plate or bowl,well...and mr lee ordered quite a lot for 5 ppl. we were like trying to gorge ourselves with food. of course, the more important part of lunch would be its conversation. Xunqi was like trying to psycho Zongjin to say something that shall not be named and at the same time not let mr lee hear it. Mr lee and i was sitting directly opposite of them. the irony of the whole thing is that i can hear everything but mr lee can't and i think he got quite pissed. i agree with Xunqi's concept of "active transport" but i must say i'm not being cunning but being clever.

At night, mark chan's email and eternity was enlightening and philosohical but i think he should break his piece into many pieces to allow time for the audience to digest what he's trying to bring across, but i must agree that wihtout any breaks, he brought out the theme that life is always changing so quickly, that when u just grasp a melody, another one comes in the way. sunny wong's picture so cool!!! that i at first glance did not know it was him. There were a few funny momments though, one audience stood up and started praising his piece. "......very gorgeous.....excellent.......however,can u say why it is so "rojak"?"

todae, rushed through all my hmwk, manage to finish it at record time, yah!
