Back from field camp.... hmm.... fun experience? haha... maybe without the leopard crawling and high kneeling..... lol... 6 days of combat rations.... haha... the biscuits taste better than the meal rations lar... Spent my first hour of valentines' day doing guard duty with edd somewhere in the middle of tekong where "there was no light".... The stars are pretty nice at night though, could see a lot more stars than in sg.... On the night of valentines' day, we got "turned out" at 4am and route-marched to our next camp-site... okay, theoretically it's not longer valentines' day, but well, so much for a valentines' day present.... Leopard crawling on rocks gives u abrasion and high kneeling in FBO gives u a very painful knee, but somehow i made it through bic on the last day and got back alive, a miracle that the abrasions did not get infected though i didn't bath or wash them regularly... hmm.. a little recap on last week, did live range and had regimental guard duty at.............. the all-famous ammo dump.... haha... but i didn't see anything lar.... however, the story bout the special camera being covered by white cloth is true apparently, at least according to the specs tht were on duty then... well... tht's all on army.... i guess army life really makes u appreciate being a civillian a lot more... nvr knew music sounded so beautiful b4, nvr really did appreciate the freedom to OTOT as a civillian and stuff.. One thing good bout the army though, it keeps you super fit and healthy.... I clocked my first sub-10 2.4km timing in my entire life even without putting in full effort (was reserving some energy for some running training after the IPPT) and i have no probs getting up super early in the morning and keeping awake throughout the day....

Lol.. in any case, Happy CNY everybody! back to the field after CNY for sit test and then 16km route march coming up too... From another perspective, BMT is halfway through already.... hmm.. finally, good luck for a level results everyone! Praying tht it doesn't come out during sit test though....
