Scene at the park

A guy and a girl, each riding a bicycle. Girl on a smaller bike tries to break away.

girl: Dun follow me. I'm going to the maze myself.
guy: No way! If u do that, i'll follow u. (as though that is a threat)

Guy speeds up and catches up with the girl. Girl pulls a long face and starts sulking.

Guy(with an air of authority): No matter where u go, i'll follow you and protect you. I wouldn't let anything happen to u.

Girl smiles a little and starts racing with the guy.

At this point, i think it is good for you, the reader, to know that the "guy" and "girl" each are less than 10 years old. My thoughts after watching this scene- The end products of 18 years of sophistication are hypocrisy and cynicism.
