April fools day today, somehow it reminds me of jx's chinese essay in the sec sch days. Titled, "还以为", it was published in 鹰的天空13 （RI peeps can go check it out). The story was on this girl who decided to confess her love over the phone to the guy she likes on April fools day(The guy likes her too). Unfortunately, she mistook the stunned silence of the guy over the phone to be one of rejection. So, she twisted it into an April fools day joke that left both parties hurt and disappointed. My point in bringing this story up? It is to highlight the fact that we tend to assume too much, not just in love, but in life generally. Extrapolating results can be inaccurate as your initial point may be near a turning point and..... the relationship may not be linear.

Interclub bridge league first game today. Played against NTU(2). Not the best of performance, mistakes here and there but opponents made more mistakes than us, so we still won rather convincingly, by a score of 23-7 on VPs. lol.
